Annet Mahendru

Mahendru is an Afghani woman born to a Russian father as well as an Hindu Indian mother. Mahendru is fluent with German Russian and English and also speaks French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru has a Russian-Indian father. In her early teens, she choreographed a performance that gained her an appearance on German TV as a graceful Russian snow maiden that turns into an energetic Indian dancer. When she graduated from New York's high school, she received her bachelor's degree in English degree at St. John's University. In New York, she studied acting in the HB studio. In the following years she enrolled at the Groundlings School and took up various projects. She was born in Kabul Afghanistan by a Hindu/Indian father Ghanshan Mahendru and an Russian-speaking mother Olga. She moved from Afghanistan to East Meadow New York, along with her father, when she turned 13 and stars with Matthew Rhys and Keri Russel on FX's The Americans. The Americans' Nina Sergeevna Krilova is her most famous role. She was a character who appeared in Fox's The Following, and NBC's The Blacklist.
